Yampa River Core Trailhead
My wife and I each got a coffee to go from a local coffeeshop and walked along the Yampa River Core Trail. Even though it’s very close to the road, it was a pleasant walk along the creek and you can turn around whenever. Highly recommended when you want to go out for an easy walk or bike ride before hopping back in the car for a long car ride.

Amaze’n Steamboat Family Fun Park
We did the Gyro and mini golf. The kids (10 &14) loved the spinning seats that goes upside down en around every which way. 1.5 minutes was actually perfect amount of time.
Mini golf was entertaining and the course was well kept. Some chairs in the shade to take a welcome break ☀️ and good music.
Staff was very friendly.
